Watermelon Cherry Koolaid Dip Dye

I just dip dyed my hair with Watermelon Cherry Koolaid:

In the last photo, I put on a different colored shirt so you can actually see the color better. I like the color. It's not much different from other red shades of koolaid.

For the last few days I've been trying to get food dye to work in my hair. The reason is because with koolaid, you are limited to the colors you can dye your hair, but with food coloring there are more options. The problem is the food coloring won't dye my hair for some reason! I got pink to work the other day, but I've been trying blue and it keeps rinsing out. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but hopefully I'll figure it out soon.

As for Jello, I couldn't get it to work either. Hopefully soon I can bring you guys more options for dying your hair with obscure things. As for right now, koolaid it is. What color should I do next?

Many of you have been commenting on my post about how to get koolaid out of hair in 10 minutes. Most people are saying it works, but there are some who have commented and said it didn't work. I honestly have no idea. There is no difference from what I did and what you guys are doing. Let's look at the facts: Your koolaid has the same ingredients as mine, your hair is made up of the same things as mine, baking soda is all the same, water is relatively all the same stuff. I don't know why some of you are having trouble. I'm just sharing a way that gets koolaid out of my hair every time. It works every single time. Of course, I only do it when I absolutely have to because it could cause damage.

Even when I don't use that method, koolaid always fades out of my hair within a week or two. So when someone writes that koolaid has been in their hair for x amount of months and they've tried everything, it really appalls me. Like, I really don't know what to say. I'm just telling you how I do it. Trying to help here.
